Physiotherapy home visits in Five Dock

A strong Italian community, a genuinely walkable main street, and the bay a short stroll away.

Five Dock has a long-established Italian community and a main street on Great North Road that older residents still use daily. Getting back to that walk, at a normal pace, with a coffee at the end of it, is a goal people name without being asked.

Abbotsford and Russell Lea slope down toward the river, so driveways there are steeper than the flat streets around the shops. The flat end and the sloping end need slightly different programs, and we assess for that rather than assuming.

Updates go to family every quarter in plain English, and the phone gets answered in between. For adult children living elsewhere in Sydney, that is usually the part they care most about.

We cover Five Dock and the streets around it — Abbotsford and Russell Lea are all the same visit for us.

Local detail

A goal worth working toward here
The walk along Great North Road to the shops and back. Flat, busy and social, which makes it both a good target and a genuine confidence test.
Terrain
Flat around the shops, sloping toward the river at Abbotsford and Russell Lea, where driveways get noticeably steeper.
Who we see here
A long-established Italian community with strong family involvement, so there is usually someone helping with a program during the week.
