Fees & funding

Most of our clients pay little or nothing out of pocket

Physiotherapy is one of the best-funded allied health services in Australia — if you know which door to walk through. Here's each door, in plain English.

Support at Home

The main aged-care program (it replaced Home Care Packages in November 2025). Physiotherapy counts as clinical care — fully government-funded within your quarterly budget, with no participant contribution.

We invoice your provider directly. If Mum or Dad had a Home Care Package, they were moved across automatically with a no-worse-off guarantee.

NDIS — plan managed

Physiotherapy usually sits under Improved Daily Living. Our fees align with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, so claims are clean.

We invoice your plan manager directly — you never handle a bill. Progress reports arrive in time for plan reviews.

NDIS — self managed

Same service, same pricing-aligned fees — with simple, claim-ready invoices emailed straight after each session.

Self-managed participants can use any qualified provider, registered or not. That’s exactly the flexibility we’re built for.

Private

No package, no plan, no problem. Many families start privately — often while waiting for a Support at Home budget or NDIS access decision — and switch the funding across when it lands.

Private health extras may rebate part of the fee, depending on your cover.

Why we don’t publish a price list

Because for most of our clients the honest answer to “what does it cost?” is “usually nothing out of pocket” — the fee flows through Support at Home or an NDIS plan, aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Quoting one number would be misleading for the majority and confusing for everyone.

What we promise instead: the fee for your situation, quoted clearly on the first phone call, before anything is booked. It includes travel, clinical notes, care-team communication and family updates. There are no add-ons, no cancellation traps, and no surprise items on an invoice.

One call settles it.Tell us your suburb and funding type, and we’ll give you the exact fee and how it gets paid — in about a minute. 0449 918 993, seven days.
Fair questions

Money questions, straight answers

Is physiotherapy really free under Support at Home?
Physiotherapy is classified as clinical care under Support at Home, which carries no participant contribution — it’s fully government-funded within your quarterly budget when it’s part of your care plan. The budget itself is limited, so we plan visit frequency with you honestly: usually a focused block first, then a lighter maintenance rhythm.
Are you an NDIS registered provider?
No, and we’re upfront about it: we support self-managed and plan-managedparticipants, who are free to choose any qualified provider. NDIA (agency) managed participants need a registered provider, so we’re not the right fit there. Every JX physiotherapist is AHPRA-registered, insured and police-checked regardless.
What does a visit cost privately?
Fees align with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and include travel, notes and family updates — no add-ons. Call 0449 918 993and we’ll quote the exact fee for your suburb and visit type in one minute.
Does Medicare cover any of this?
Sometimes, partially. If your GP sets up a Chronic Disease Management plan, Medicare rebates a portion of up to five allied health visits a year. It rarely covers a full home-visit fee, but it helps — mention it on the first call and we’ll factor it in.
What about cancellations?
Life happens, especially with health in the mix. Give us a day’s notice and there’s no charge. Repeated same-day cancellations we’ll talk about like adults — the goal is a plan that actually fits your life, not fees.
Still unsure?

Funding is our paperwork, not yours

Tell us your situation and we'll tell you which funding door applies, what it covers, and what — if anything — you'd pay. Then you decide.
