The real environment
Balance practised on a clinic mat doesn’t automatically transfer to your hallway. Treating where you live means treating the actual step, the actual bathroom, the actual footpath.
JX Physio started with one physiotherapist, a car, and a conviction: the best care for older adults and people with disability happens where they actually live. It still runs that way — just with more physiotherapists and more cars.
Jimmy trained at Western Sydney University and cut his teeth in Western Sydney Local Health District hospitals — acute stroke, sub-acute rehabilitation and geriatric wards. That hospital grounding shaped how he works: thorough assessment, honest goal-setting, and a deep respect for what recovery asks of a person.
After senior roles in community and clinic physiotherapy, he founded JX Physio in 2024. Today he leads the team, answers every enquiry call himself, and personally matches each client with the physiotherapist whose experience fits. He also teaches: as a University of Sydney placement educator, Jimmy supervises and trains the next generation of physiotherapists.
“My rule is simple: every client gets the care I’d want for my own mum.”
There’s no waiting room because the waiting room was the problem.

For many older adults and people with disability, getting to a clinic is harder than the therapy itself. Removing the trip removes the single biggest reason care gets skipped.
Clinic schedules are built around rooms. Ours are built around people — sessions long enough to warm up, work properly and finish with a plan.
Our physiotherapists see most of our clients day to day — Jimmy coordinates every client’s care and stays across every client’s progress. Each physio is AHPRA-registered, insured, police-checked and chosen for the same instincts: patience, warmth, and clinical backbone.
You’ll see the same physiotherapist each visit. If the fit isn’t right, tell Jimmy — he’d rather re-match you than have you politely put up with it.
Care available in English, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Mandarin.

Tell us a little about your mum. We take it from there, and you get the same physiotherapist every visit.
