Physiotherapy home visits in Casula

Sloping streets above the Georges River, where the driveway is often harder than anything indoors.

Casula runs down toward the Georges River, and a lot of its streets slope noticeably. Steep driveways and stepped front paths are common, and they are usually harder than anything a client has to do inside the house.

So the outdoor work here is not an afterthought. Practising the actual slope in the actual shoes, ideally on a damp morning rather than a perfect afternoon, is what makes a program hold up in real life.

The other thing worth knowing is that we are ten minutes away rather than an hour. That matters most after a discharge, when the first fortnight home decides how much of the hospital's work actually holds.

Local detail

Terrain
Streets slope toward the Georges River. Steep driveways and stepped front paths make outdoor balance work a standard part of programs here.
A goal worth working toward here
A short walk at Casula Powerhouse and the parkland beside it, which is flat and forgiving compared with the streets above it.
Nearest hospital
Liverpool Hospital is minutes away, so post-discharge referrals here reach us quickly and we can usually start inside the first fortnight home.
