Bonnyrigg has one of the larger NDIS populations in the area and a genuinely mixed housing stock, from renewed public housing through to newer estate homes. Those are very different environments to work in, and the program has to suit the actual house rather than a general template.

Renewed public housing and newer estate homes need different plans. One often has a modification process to wait on; the other has a staircase. We assess the house in front of us rather than the suburb it sits in.

We visit at home or at school, whichever suits the goal. For younger participants a school visit often makes more sense, because that is where the difficulty actually shows up.

We cover Bonnyrigg and the streets around it — Bonnyrigg Heights are all the same visit for us.
